With your crazy busy schedule, it's difficult to take time to make breakfast, let alone make over your face. However, here are my quick and easy makeup tips that will have you looking radiant in no time!
It's all about extra-radiant skin. Use a gentle exfoliator like Vichy Normaderm 3in1 with a facial brush to clean your face before you start your make up. This will help stimulate the blood supply to face, instantly bringing colour to your cheeks and removing dead skin cells which in turn will help your moisturiser penetrate deeper layers of the stratum corneum.
Once you’ve applied a rehydrating & firming serum like Vichy Liftactiv Serum 10 Supreme to the skin, which will leave it feeling firmer, I like to allow it to fully absorb, so apply your eye make-up before you start your foundation. This is also a good tip when you are in a hurry – if you make your eyes up first you can easily clean up without ruining foundation if you drop any eyeshadow on face.
If you’re a person who looks 10 times more polished when your eyebrows are done, make them a priority. But instead of taking the time to fill in both brows in their entirety, simply dot a brow pencil onto those few sparse areas to even things out, then coat them with a tinted brow gel (or clear mascara) for a natural, but still groomed, look on the go.
The eyes are a dead giveaway that you didn’t have time in the morning—or enough sleep, If this sounds like you, focus your time on your eyes to ensure you look awake and rested.
First line the inner rim of the eyes with white eye pencil to disguise red eyes, then smudge brown or black shadow on the upper lid close to the lashes.
Curled lashes frame and define eyes, so curl the lashes as close to the base of the eyelid, always make sure you don't get moisturiser on your lashes as wet lashes will not hold the curl as well.
Once you’ve curled your lashes, apply two coats of black mascara. If you have deep set eyes use waterproof mascara so it doesn't smudge around your eyes.
Now that your moisturiser has left your skin smoother and more radiant, using a foundation brush apply Dermablend corrective fluid over the face and blend. Apply your concealer to the under eye to conceal redness and dark circles, then set with a touch of translucent powder
To give your face a natural looking flush, go for a bright pink cream blusher. Swirl a bit on the back of your hand to warm it up so it'll melt right in, then tap it on the apples of cheeks.
Finish by brushing highlighter onto the top of your cheek-bones, where the light naturally hits.
Finish off your make up with a rosy pink lip gloss and people will think you woke up looking naturally glamorous!
